The Schiaparelli Suite, The May Fair Hotel, London
The eye-popping Schiaparelli Suite is named after the avant-garde Italian fashion designer Elsa Schiaparelli, who introduced ‘shocking pink’ to the world in the 1940′s. As part of the luxurious May Fair Hotel the suite attracts celebrity guests on a regular basis; it’s a particular favourite at London Fashion Week and during The London Film Festival.
The interior is a flamboyant tribute to retro glamour with burst of fuchsia used to great effect. Buddha statues add an eclectic touch. Very, very private parties, photo shoots and product launches are often hosted in the opulent lounge which has a B & O sound system, fireplace and dining area that seats eight. The lavish master bedroom is en-suite to a bathroom with limestone egg bath and rain shower.
