The camp forms part of the luxury 350,000 acre reserve owned by American financier and philanthropist Paul Tudor Jones and operates on an exclusive-use basis. The elegant tents are supremely comfortable with beds, bucket showers and flushing toilets – guests gather at the communal mess tent to lounge on linen sofas, sip cocktails and enjoy delicious food prepared by a skilled chef.
The ability to set up camp on the reserve’s remoter locations offers guests the chance to see spectacular natural events, including the famous annual wildebeest migration. Game drives are organised by the expert resident guide and can be enjoyed day or night, or even on horseback – a selection of horses are kept on-site.
